From the readings I have noticed that all of them have a few things in common, the way you shoot the image is what tells a story. That being anything from how simple you keep the background to which angle you take it. The way you are trying to perceive the image is what makes or breaks the photo in the final results. What I think is most important from the readings is the emotion the actor is conveying. I think emotion is most important in this type of photography because seeing how a person is feeling is the main reason you know what is going on in that moment. For example some people have a laugh that sounds similar to their cry, the difference is the facial expressions and whether or not there are tears.
